Review on our Dragonfly visit this weekend. The premises are clean and generally well maintained, which is appreciated and consistent with our previous visit. The restaurant mainly serves Thai food and the dishes were very tasty. A positive point is that the staff kindly changed one of our dishes when it turned out to be too spicy, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the reception. The lady at the counter was unfriendly and showed an obvious lack of customer service. She barely spoke, seemed only focused on collecting the entrance fee, and provided no explanation. We were charged 1,300 THB for a couple. When I mentioned that during our last visit in December we paid 700 THB, her only response was “that was a long time ago,” without any further clarification. The sauna and steam room are functioning well overall. However, the sauna takes quite some time to heat up, and it was frustrating that staff kept turning it off repeatedly. We also noticed a significant change in the clientele compared to our previous visit. The average age was much higher, with mostly foreign customers aged 60+. There was a noticeable disconnect with other couples, and we didn’t feel we were at the right place for us anymore. All in all, this will likely be our last visit, as the resort no longer meets our main expectations despite some positive aspects.

You mention, “some positive aspects,” but fail to cite any. Absent them it comes across as along winded expression of your disappointment an employee may have had a bad day (how’s your Thai btw? I’m guessing nit noy. ) also the thermostat time is what’s not working there not that they turn it off, and lastly, many, many 40,50,60, y/o in this group and in the scene. So disparaging any group is poor taste and only reflects in you. Are you & your SO models? If not, leave that out of your review.

@se********* unbiased reviews or locations help people have a insight into a business, ofc age is not the issue of the topic but I think he is highlighting the clientele is Different from previous visits. Thai no Thai dragonfly has always attracted foreign clients but yes this is not a focal point and yes like any worker in hospitality may have a bad day. There is no need to bite at the guy who is trying to provide others with their experience.

@se********* its the way you do it is the problem. You need to be more polite in your responses. It not the first time an administrator has had to call you out. Things like that comment about thier thai ability was not only unnecessary but uncalled for. To be absolutely clear rule number 2 says: Please make sure you are polite and respectful to everyone in this group. This includes not being condesending to other members. I trust this will not be an issue again.
