Thank you Rob for pointing this out, just spent the last 30mins explaining to someone all the reasons what can be used as a reason for police to raid a event before someone shared this, and this has all the no no's for what not to do, for those who need a refershement: Hosting these sort of parties in a hotel room is ILLEGAL, when you book a room they state always the max occupancy in each room which their Hotel licence allows, There are 3 types of hotel licence each allows them to do various activities, most hotels have the basic meaning for sleeping only not for hosting events or an entertainment venue. If you have more people in a room then legally stated its not used for the intended purpose meaning that the room is a public space where police can enter without a warrent, both hotel and person who arranged the event can get in trouble. Second is drugs and filming. Becareful when attending events held in hotel rooms as they carry higher risk, as always in Thailand with nightlife venues if you dont pay protection money just expect a visit from the boys in brown for disrespecting them.
